Biography

Mikhail Filippov was seriously fascinated by art from early childhood. The actor himself called himself a "teenage theater-goer".

“The guys and I ran around the theaters, including the performances of Mayakovka,” recalls Mikhail Ivanovich. one of Lyubov's first performances. I can't say that "Mayakovka" stuck in my memory. But I went to theaters a lot. I had one good friend, and we often ran together to the theater on Malaya Bronnaya, to the Stanislavsky Theater, where there was, as I remember now, one of my favorite performances in those years - "The Threepenny Opera". The role of Peacham was played in line, imagine, the now deceased Evgeny Leonov and Evgeny Urbansky - that's what the theater was like, that's what the cast was. I went ten times for this show."

Nevertheless, immediately after graduating from school, Mikhail Filippov did not enter the theater, but at Moscow State University at the Faculty of Philology.

While studying at Moscow State University, the future actor began to play in the student studio "Our House". “For me, it was a“ lyceum ”, where I not only received professional skills, but also went through human development,” the actor shared. house", in this amateur performance, in this theatrical "homeless", from which many talented directors and actors have come out.

After the fourth year, Mikhail Filippov moved from Moscow State University to GITIS on the course of the People's Artist of the RSFSR Grigory Grigoryevich Konsky. In 1973, Mikhail received a diploma in acting education.

It was a five-part tape based on the novel of the same name by Stendhal: the love and death story of Julien Sorel, a young provincial who came to conquer Paris at the beginning of the 19th century. Mikhail Filippov played the role of Fouquet. He went to the set with the stars of Soviet cinema: Nikolai Eremenko, Natalya Bondarchuk, Leonid Markov, Natalya Belokhvostikova, Gleb Strizhenov, Mikhail Gluzsky.

In the eighties, viewers could often see the actor on the TV screen in films-performances of the Mayakovsky Theater. In 1988, Mikhail Filippov played the main role in the film "The Artist from Gribov", Irina Muravyova became his partner in the film.

Later, with the participation of the actor, tapes were released: "The Case of Sukhovo-Kobylin", Eldar Ryazanov's tragicomedy "Promised Heaven", the serial melodrama "Little Things in Life". In addition, he played one of the brightest roles in the historical drama Petersburg Secrets, as well as in the detective series DDD Dossier of Detective Dubrovsky.

In the 2000s, the actor did not appear on the screens as often as fans of his talent would like. In 2004, he starred in the comedy "Jisai" about a Russian businessman who learned about an ancient Japanese tradition and hired himself a "sacrificial scapegoat" - Jisai.

After some time, Vladimir Motyl's historical drama "The Crimson Color of Snowfall" was presented, in which Mikhail Filippov became the main character - Major General Rostislav Ivanovich Batorsky.

In 2012, the actor played one of the main roles in the film adaptation of Boris Akunin's novel "Spy Romance" - the film "Spy". A year later, viewers were able to see the artist in the film "Gagarin. The First in Space" in the role of Sergei Pavlovich Korolev.

Over the years, Mikhail Filippov received many offers to star in television series, but he did not accept everything. So? he participated in the projects of Andrey Eshpay "Children of the Arbat" and "Ivan the Terrible", in 2015 he played in the Ukrainian serial detective comedy "Dog", and in 2018 he played one of the roles in Yuri Moroz's film "Operation Satan".

In 2019, the TV channel released the picture "Tell the Truth", which was also shot by Andrey Eshpay and where he invited Mikhail Filippov. "Tell the Truth" is the Russian version of the British project "Doctor Foster", released in 2015.

The second wife of Mikhail Ivanovich was the People's Artist Natalya Gundareva. They lived together for 19 years, Natalia's death separated them. Two years after this tragic event, Mikhail Filippov published the book "Natasha", dedicated to his wife.

The title "People's Artist of Russia" Mikhail Filippov was awarded in 1995.

The marriage of the actor of the Theater. Mayakovsky Mikhail Filippov on his colleague Natalya Vasilyeva was discussed by everyone. Many were sure that, having buried his beloved wife, actress Natalya Gundareva, Filippov would never again tie the knot. But four years after the death of Natalya Georgievna, Mikhail Ivanovich made an offer to another Natalya - Vasilyeva. Filippov himself categorically refuses to talk to the press about this topic. "Only the stars" managed to talk with his new wife.

Natalia Vasilyeva leads us through the tangled corridors of the Mayakovsky Theatre. She's wearing blue jeans and a loose top. The actress has blush on her cheeks and big blue eyes. On her table in the dressing room is a funny monkey with a bow.

“My friends gave me this,” the actress smiles. They gave me such an unexpected surprise.

At this time, the phone rings. It was the husband Mikhail Filippov who decided to find out when Natalya would go to buy herself a warm sweater for the winter.

- Hello! - Vasiliev begins to chirp into the phone. - Have you seen them yet? Well, how? Tried on? Okay, let's talk about it at home. Yes, I pinched, pinched.

- “Pinched” means “understood,” Natalya explains. This is our family word. I recently bought warm gloves for my husband, but with them came the hassle. The first time I got the wrong size, I had to return them. Today I will come home, he will try on a new pair. If these do not fit, you will have to return to the store. Mikhail Ivanovich himself will not do this, he does not like to go shopping. However, just like me...

- Mikhail Ivanovich has a lot of work in the theater. Do you manage to find time to be alone?

- Certainly! Now my husband travels around the world with tours with Vladimir Fedoseev's orchestra, he reads excerpts from War and Peace. I would also like to perform with him. But the husband is a scrupulous person, he does not want to be told: they say, I got into this project only because we are married. I have to put up with my husband's temper so that there is no misunderstanding in our relationship.

- You work with Mikhail Ivanovich in the same theater, but you never went on stage together ....

- We would love to play together with one performance. Believe me, there have been many attempts, but they have not given any result so far. So, we were supposed to play in the productions of "Krechinsky's Wedding" and "King Lear" ... But it did not happen. And I don't rush things. I know that if something does not happen, it means that it is too early and we have to wait.

- You recently celebrated your 42nd birthday. Where did they celebrate?

– Usually I celebrate at the theater, but this time I decided to go to the temple. I was born on the day of the Intercession. In the cathedral I have my own confessor, who helped me a lot in life. I came to faith as an adult. My parents brought me up in the spirit of atheism, in our family it was not customary to go to church, pray, and fast. I started doing all this at an older age. When my mother fell ill, problems began at work, I realized that I could not find help anywhere, and I went to the temple. You know, it somehow immediately became easier for me there.

– Does Mikhail Ivanovich visit the temple with you?

Yes, although he doesn't do it very often. The husband must take communion, go to confession. Mikhail Ivanovich is a smart, thinking person. For me, he is a real ideal man. I am very lucky to have met him! Mikhail Ivanovich is a grandiose master, and any actor would consider it a pleasure to work with him. He never advises or criticizes anything. The husband is a very tactful person, but at the same time quite secretive. Probably, there are actors who rehearse at home, in the kitchen. Mikhail Ivanovich is not one of those. I've never seen him prepare for a role. At home we have a rule - we do not talk about work. The husband believes that the profession and personal life should be separated.

- Your wedding with Filippov caused a lot of gossip, the covers were full of bright headlines. It must have been hard to survive such a wave of popularity?

- I absolutely do not care, I tried not to pay attention to it and not to read what they write about us. I'm not being modest - I really don't care. They wrote that allegedly my husband forbade me to talk about this topic. Nothing like this! I just made up my mind that way.

- There are many rumors about your history of acquaintance with Mikhail Ivanovich. Tell me where did you meet?

- Well, how about "where"? In the theater, of course. I will probably disappoint you, but we did not have any romantic history of acquaintance. We talked in the theater, worked on the play. After some time, they realized that they needed each other. And we decided to get married. It was a prerequisite. It couldn't be otherwise. I can’t imagine a marriage that is not sealed by church ties. Probably, a line from the song fits the story of our couple: “Two lonelinesses just met, lit a fire by the road.”

Until the fire goes out?

- We are working on it. It seems to me that it is even better when people come to life together not at a young age, but at a mature age, with their own life experience and principles. Our alliance with Mikhail Ivanovich is based on mutual understanding and trust. Love, of course, is also present, but there is no such crazy passion between us. She is known to pass quickly.

- A year ago, the newspapers wrote that you were expecting a baby ...

- As you can see, it's not. Unfortunately. We have no children.

- You and Mikhail Ivanovich have a 12-year age difference. Doesn't she bother you?

- The only difference is that Mikhail Ivanovich knows more than me and is much more well-read than I am. Sometimes, if I am worried about something, I am nervous, it is enough for my husband to say one word, and I understand that there is no need to worry. I don't feel the age difference at all. Mikhail Ivanovich and I have a lot in common - we look at things the same way, we evaluate performances and films. It costs a lot.

- Many call you a rival of Natalia Gundareva. Isn't it embarrassing to hear that?

- I am not Gundareva's rival. It's strange for me to hear this. We rarely worked with Natalya Georgievna on the same stage. Basically, I played in the extras of performances, where Gundareva shone. She, of course, was a lump, an actress who could play everything on stage. Now we don't have such actors. Gundareva and Andrei Alexandrovich Goncharov (former artistic director of the Mayakovsky Theater) were two pillars in the theater. Natalya Georgievna was interested in any person, even the lowest rank, who came to the theater. She was very zealous about the profession, and if she noticed that someone was hacking, she could scold and rein in.

- Fans of the actress said that colleagues in the theater forgot Natalya Georgievna when she was in the hospital ...

She was a very reserved person. I don’t think that during her illness, Natalya Georgievna wanted to see crowds of people, fans, colleagues in her ward. She lived in her own closed world. Even now, I don't know anything about her. Mikhail Ivanovich and I never talk about Gundareva. This is a closed topic. For a husband, this is a secret part of his life, about which he does not really like to talk about. I understand and respect this.

- Have you read the book "Natasha", which Mikhail Ivanovich dedicated to Gundareva?

- I like it very much. I would say that the book turned out to be personal, intimate. She can't help but like it. Each person will find in it something for themselves.

It's no secret that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. What dishes do you usually spoil Mikhail Ivanovich with?

- I love coockie so much. It seems to me that food is one of the joys of life, without which it would be hard. My husband loves all kinds of buns, pies, despite the fact that he cannot eat a lot of muffin because of health problems. But I want to pamper him so much that I sometimes cook pastries for him, although I'm not very good at this. But I try very hard!

- In one interview, Mikhail Ivanovich said that he would like to have a cat. Do you currently have a pet?

- I adore cats, I am ready to kiss them, stroke them without interruption. My husband has never had pets. I asked him several times for permission to get a cat, but it seems to Mikhail Ivanovich that this is a very big responsibility. Until he's ready for it. Well, you'll have to be patient. An old cat Murzik lives at my father's house - a thunderstorm of all the surrounding cats. He has to pay for his love of love - he has one ear torn off, there are wounds on his stomach. Despite this, he still goes in search of adventure every spring. One day a real miracle happened to him. Two months after I found him, Murzik got lost. We were looking for him with the whole family, but he disappeared without a trace. Mom and I were very worried about the cat, wept all day and night. Probably out of desperation, a couple of days later I ran to the church and asked God to find Murzik. And so it happened! When I came home from the church and called him again, he answered and crawled out of his hiding place.

Favorite wives of Mikhail Filippov

The first wife of the famous actor was Irina Andropova, the daughter of the future General Secretary of the Central Committee of the CPSU, whom he met while visiting a mutual friend. Irina immediately fell in love with a tall brunette with an enigmatic smile. However, Mikhail did not respond to her feelings for a long time ...

“This is not surprising,” the couple’s friends say. - Irina already had mental problems in her youth. We often noticed how her hands were shaking, she always carried a handful of pills with her in her purse. Despite this, Misha proposed to her a couple of months later. Andropov's daughter was in seventh heaven with happiness. Soon their son Dmitry was born.

After the honeymoon, harsh everyday life began, for which, as it turned out, Irina was not ready.

“She was terribly jealous of her husband Mikhail Filippov,” his theater colleagues say. - It got to the point that Ira even asked her father, who at that time had already become the Secretary General, to establish surveillance of her unfaithful husband. Suspicions were confirmed - Filippov really cheated on his wife. But Andropov decided not to tell his daughter about this, because he was afraid of another breakdown. When Irina asked what the surveillance showed, the secretary general said: "Nothing, he is clean."

But Irina did not believe her father and filed for divorce anyway. Filippov found himself in a difficult situation: on the one hand, an unbalanced wife, on the other, an influential father-in-law. Therefore, he decided to improve relations with his ex-wife: he showered her with gifts, flowers, met her after work. After such pressure, the woman thawed and took it again.

However, the family life of the spouses did not last long. As soon as it became known about the death of Yuri Andropov, Filippov packed his things and left the family.

Filippov married his second wife, popularly beloved actress Natalya Gundareva, in 1986. Here is how Mikhail Ivanovich himself describes their first meeting in the book “Natasha”, dedicated to Natalya Georgievna: “It was in the summer, on tour in Chelyabinsk and Perm. Love did not come, did not creep up, but hit us both. “We met just in time,” I said, although sometimes I was sad: how late!
Natalya Georgievna always admired Filippov's manners, erudition and sense of humor. “My husband is a man of amazing humor,” Gundareva said in an interview. “He knows a lot about a good joke.”
The spouses did not have their own children, but the passionate admirer of Natalya Georgievna's work, Irina Degteva Gundareva and Filippov, were affectionately called "our daughter." Irina went on tour and on vacation with Gundareva and Filippov, equipped their apartment. The couple had complete confidence in her. When Natalya Georgievna became seriously ill, Degteva became her nurse: she cooked food, looked after her favorite actress, and together they went for a walk. After the death of Gundareva, Irina returned to her hometown of Podolsk.

Natalya Gundareva and Mikhail Filippov lived together for 19 years. In May 2005, after a long illness, the actress died. Filippov was very upset by her departure: he was often sick, did not talk to anyone.
Only four years later, he managed to return to life and propose to his theater colleague Natalya Vasilyeva.

The young wife of Mikhail Filippov became pregnant on the eve of his 65th birthday

A little over a month ago, the wonderful actor Mikhail FILIPPOV celebrated his 65th birthday. Colleagues at the Mayakovsky Theater in the capital, where Mikhail Ivanovich played on the same stage with his now deceased wife Natalya GUNDAREVA, and then met a new love - also actress Natalya VASILIEVA, are discussing the good news. Filippov and his now 43-year-old wife are expecting a baby. Three years ago, while still newlyweds, the couple tried to have a baby and even signed a contract with one of the elite maternity hospitals in Moscow. But then Natalia did not succeed in bearing her first child.

Mikhail Ivanovich is very protective of their relationship with Natasha, says a colleague from Mayakovka Lyubov Rudenko. - Now many people give birth late, after forty, but there is nothing wrong with that. Natalia is in great shape, positive, kind, attentive. God forbid they succeed. I am sure that Mikhail Ivanovich will be an excellent father: he is a wise, experienced person, with a great sense of humor, he raised his son Mitya from his first marriage.
Recall that the first wife of Filippov was Irina Andropova, the daughter of the head of the KGB, and then the Secretary General of the Central Committee of the CPSU, Yuri Vladimirovich Andropov. In this marriage, 37 years ago, Dmitry was born, who bears the loud surname of his grandfather. He is a bank employee, a few years ago he made his father a grandfather, having acquired a daughter, Nastya.
For the second time, Mikhail Filippov tied the knot with the famous actress Natalya Gundareva.

- I witnessed how the romance of Misha and Natasha began, - recalls Lyubov Rudenko. - In the summer of 1985, our theater went on a two-month tour to Perm and Chelyabinsk. Gundareva and I became close there. She was then incredibly happy with Filippov, but was in full confidence that their relationship would end immediately after the tour ended. But upon returning to Moscow, Mikhail Ivanovich continued to look after her. After each performance, he waited for his beloved at the backstage with flowers behind his back, and then took him home.
During the next rehearsal, Rudenko noticed a new diamond ring on Natalya Georgievna's finger. The friend did not hide that this is a gift from the future spouse.
“Natasha was very fond of beautiful jewelry, but she couldn’t afford them before,” Rudenko sighs. - Imagine, the great artist could not afford an ordinary diamond ring! Before that, we were with her in the Baltics on the set, went to a jewelry store, Gundareva tried on something there. But I didn't buy anything. Like, what shisha? And then they didn’t pay huge fees. And suddenly, soon she receives the desired present from Misha. It turns out that he sold the car to pamper his beloved with decorations. Natasha even burst into tears when Filippov put on her ring. And the point, of course, was not in diamonds, but in a real man's act.
According to a friend, when the conversation turned to children, Gundareva for some reason sadly remarked:
- I can only give birth to a sick child. I'm afraid.
Natalya Georgievna worked a lot: filming, concerts, performances. In addition, she had to support her mother. Gradually, the great actress realized that, unfortunately, she was not destined to become a mother.
When, having been married to Filippov for 15 years, Gundareva became seriously ill, her husband anxiously looked after her, spending sleepless nights at the hospital bed, trying to inspire hope for recovery. But four years later, Natalia Georgievna died. She was only 56 years old...

face in powder

Having been widowed, Mikhail Ivanovich had a hard time enduring the loss: he moved away from everyone and even found himself on the verge of life and death. Once he ended up in the hospital with a severe heart attack.
But then he nevertheless found new happiness with another Natasha - Vasilyeva, who was fit for his daughter. Their romance began in their native Mayakovka while working on the next performance.
- I watched how they talked animatedly in the House of the actor at the evenings, - recalls Lyubov Rudenko. - They turned out to be close in their attitudes, they were drawn to each other, enough time had already passed after the death of Misha's wife, and Natasha Vasilyeva was alone.
After the wedding, Vasilyeva took her husband's surname. They not only registered the relationship in the registry office, but also got married.
- Mikhail Ivanovich, unfortunately, at the beginning of his career was perceived as Andropov's son-in-law, then - as Gundareva's husband and looked with a squint, - sighs a colleague in the theater Elena Molchenko, the widow of Alexander Fatyushin. - And he is a piece artist, an integral nature, a highly spiritual person, which is a rarity. Mikhail Ivanovich is a wonderful stage partner. I remember that in the play "Running" Volodya Ilyin played Antoine, the servant of his hero Korzukhin. Ilyin decided to make Filippov laugh, to “split” him, and, sprinkled with powder, as if in flour, he went on stage. Everyone thought that Michael would laugh, but no matter how! He calmly raised his eyes to Ilyin and asked: “Antoine, have you started a pie again?” Volodya immediately crawled backstage laughing. And as for Filippov's new wife, I can say that I will be very happy when Natasha gives birth to a child for Mikhail. It is a great happiness that they met each other. Widowers and widows, I know from my own experience, are a sweet topic for people with long tongues. To me, like, probably, to Misha, it doesn’t matter what others say - it’s none of their damn business. Never a subsequent relationship will affect the memory of a previous love!
Another Mayakovka colleague, Yuri Sokolov, ex-husband of actress Olga Prokofieva, agrees with Molchenko:
- Misha is worthy of happiness - how much he has experienced. Natasha Vasilyeva is a talented actress and a very decent person. They will have a child, and I can only rejoice for them with all my heart. May God grant them a happy future life and health to the baby. For decent people, happiness comes a little later than for the rest. The child is a responsibility. Surely they decided to start it not out of the blue.
Now the expectant mother is shining in the premiere of the play "Uncle's Dream". An interesting position does not prevent her from famously playing on stage. But about Natalya's pregnancy, which is still almost invisible to others, colleagues speak in a whisper - they are afraid to jinx it.

No one knows how many more roles in cinema and theater the wonderful Natalia Gundareva could have played, if not for a stroke, after which she could not recover. This bright and talented actress is remembered by a million-strong army of fans for her roles in many films. They admired her playing on the stage of the theater, and films with her participation were reviewed several times.

Love for art Natalia from an early age introduced her mother. Although she was not a professional actress, she participated in an amateur theater. Very often she took the girl with her to rehearsals. And when the girl was only five years old, the whole family went to the play "The Blue Bird". The staging and the atmosphere impressed little Natalya so much that on the same evening she told her parents that she would definitely become either an artist or a ballerina.

From the same day, the girl began to confidently go to the intended goal. She attended theater circles and danced, and also read a lot. When she grew up, she began to take stage speech lessons. At the same time, Natalia managed to successfully combine both study and hobby.

Parents did not want their daughter to connect her career with theater and cinema. They insisted that after graduating from school she entered the construction institute. But her classmate, who was preparing to enter the Shchukin school, persuaded her to submit documents with him. So the girl became a student at a theater university.

Her professional life was very eventful. Hundreds of proposals from directors and directors. Demand and love of the audience. But no less eventful was the personal life of Natalia Gundareva.

First love

While studying at the theater school, Gundareva devoted herself entirely to her studies. She did not even think of dating boys, much less getting married. After graduating from college, she had to choose a theater in which she would work. Her choice was the Mayakovsky Theater. There she worked from the first day until her death.

There Natalia met her first true love. It turned out to be director Leonid Kheifets. Together with him they worked on the production of the video play "The Break". After the end of the joint work, they realized that they fell in love with each other and wanted to be together.

Natalia and Leonid were not stopped by the fact that the man was married and was 14 years older than Natalia. For her sake, he left the family and made her a marriage proposal. For this act, many condemned the director. Even his own mother did not soon come to terms with the new daughter-in-law. She was always looking for some flaws in her, and the lovers were just happy together.

Interesting Notes:

Probably, Natalya and Leonid loved each other until the end of their days, but they could not live together. The family was destroyed by domestic problems. The director liked to invite his friends to the house. They often met at the same table and discussed their plans until late at night. At first, Natalya was not against such meetings, but soon she began to get bored with cleaning until late at night and cooking for guests.

In addition, she was already a sought-after actress at that time. The woman was very tired on the set and planned to relax after a hard day's work.

At the peak of her career, Gundareva made a fatal mistake, which she later regretted all her life. She became pregnant, but decided to have an abortion, as she did not have the time or desire to take care of children.

After six years of marriage, Natalia and Leonid decided to leave, although they continued to love each other.

In beams of glory

Natalia, despite her magnificent figure, has always been popular with men. Her next love was a colleague Viktor Koreshkov. They worked with him on a theatrical production. And the woman fell in love. I fell in love so much that I stopped understanding where the real feelings are, and where the theatrical production is.

At the sight of her lover, Natalya simply changed before her eyes. She became kind and tenderness shone in her eyes. Victor at the same time treated her very cool. He allowed himself to be loved.

Friends of the actress tried to open her eyes. They have said more than once that Victor is simply basking in the rays of her glory and thus trying to find a comfortable place for himself. But Gundareva was in love and did not want to listen to anything.

The couple officially formalized their relationship. And then there was an almost instantaneous transformation. The woman realized that she had married the wrong man. That she's confused about her feelings. It turned out that Natalya did not like Koreshkov at all. She accepted the news about his betrayals with other women calmly, because her husband was practically indifferent to her.

The marriage of Natalia and Victor lasted only two years. It was rumored that not only Victor was looking for a relationship on the side. Gundareva also did not get bored alone while her husband was not at home.

Recent relationship

Natalia was a very amorous nature. And there were men who took advantage of her gullibility. But the actress dreamed of meeting a man who would love her, and would not arrange her life at her expense. But for a long time she could not meet such a man. Soon she ceased to trust them and began to withdraw into herself.

But, a few years later, there was a man who could melt her heart and taught her to trust people again. It turned out to be Mikhail Filippov. They worked in the same theater, but for a long time they could not just talk.

Such an opportunity fell to them during a joint tour. It was summer. After the performance, the theater troupe decided to take a little rest and went to the seashore. There Mikhail and Natalya started talking. It turned out that the man had long been secretly in love with the actress. Natalya did not believe in the sincerity of his feelings. Filippov had to prove for more than one month that he really loves her and wants to be with her.

Still, the sincerity of feelings helped to overcome mistrust. Natalia and Mikhail got married. Married to him, a woman for the first time regretted an act committed in her youth. As a result of the abortion, the actress could not have children. But Michael, for the sake of his beloved, was able to come to terms with this.

The couple could have lived a long and happy life, if not for Natalia's stroke. Doctors fought for her life, and Gundareva was not ready to die. She, thanks to incredible willpower, tried to escape from the clutches of the disease.

The actress even began to rehearse the role in the new play and invite friends to the premiere. But the premiere never took place. The actress did not suffer a second stroke. All these years of her struggle with the disease, her beloved Mikhail was nearby, who made every effort to make his wife the happiest in the world.
